10 Warning Signs You Have A Candida Infection
A very common infection that most people will get at some point in their lifetime is a candida infection. Unfortunately most people don’t even know that they have it. You’ll walk around with symptoms like itchy skin rashes or even bloating, but you’ll never identify the problem appropriately.
So in this video we’re going to help you identify the warning signs of a candida infection, but most importantly teach you how to overcome them now. Though there are many types of candidiasis, the most common candida infection people get is the candida albicans.
Candida albicans can cause a lot of problems in your overall health. Let’s first look at some of the warning signs:
Sinus Infection
People get sinus infections throughout the year. If you’re getting recurring sinus infections that don’t seem to go away, you certainly want to start to correlate it with a potential candida infection.
Nail Fungal Infections
You’ll know this is happening if your nail typically gets cloudy or kind of gross looking. It’s a common common sign of a candida infection. A lot of times it’s pretty bad at that point so you definitely want to be going to your doctor to check this out or take it seriously using the exact methods that I’m about to share with you in this video.
Skin rashes
I’ve actually had this myself because I went through rounds and rounds of antibiotics as a child, which totally screwed up my gut health. You’ll typically get skin rashes in moist areas. It may be around your eyes. It also can be in your armpits or even more private areas. You want to make sure that if you’re getting rashes and they just keep recurring, and you don’t know why it’s happening, that you take it seriously.
Bloating
If you’re somebody who has gas, diarrhea, cramps and nausea then there’s a good chance that this candida problem could be within your gut. You want to get it solved because if it’s in your gut it can go throughout your entire body. It can even get in your bloodstream and cause a lot of problems.
Fatigue
If you’re somebody who is tired and fatigued all the time, this is also a very common sign of a candida infection.
UTI
If you’re getting recurring Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), it’s even more of a sign that you have a candida issue.
Skin itching
When your skin is constantly itching and then you even get itching in a lot of private areas, this is also something that you want to really take seriously.
Joint pain
Candida actually gets into the joints and it causes an arthritic type of pain. In fact, it actually can even lead to arthritis down the road. A lot of people have these candida infections show up and they don’t do anything about it because they don’t know what’s happening. They think it’s just a minor symptom but it can blow up. Candida infection can get pretty bad and can be very hard to get rid of.
White spots
White spots that develop on the tongue, or in the mouth, in the back of the throat. You’ll typically see these as well if somebody’s dealing with some candida problems.
You don’t have to have all of these symptoms to have a candida infection. You can certainly have just one or two of them and still have a pretty strong infection that you need to work on overcoming.
Common Causes of Candida Infection:
Antibiotics
One of the common questions I get all the time is “how in the world does this happen?” It’s a really good question. People ask me this about their health problems and it’s like, “Well, I don’t know.” It’s very difficult to try to pinpoint why something’s happening, however we always want to just try to fix the issue. Sometimes it can be kind of obvious. One of the very common reasons that this happens is due to antibiotics.
I dealt with ear infections as a child for many many years and I’d probably been on antibiotics over 15 times in my life. Never as an adult when I knew better, but certainly as a child and just you know getting the health care that my doctor would recommend for me (or recommended for me through my parents).
Basically, I went on tons of antibiotics so essentially I ended up with candida infections as a result. The reason for this is because one of the things that protects you from these infections is the good healthy bacteria within your gut.
When you take antibiotics, it kills off these bacteria. It’s estimated that just taking antibiotics once in your lifetime is enough to disrupt your microbiome forever. So antibiotics are a big one.
Stress
Stress and recurring chronic stress in your life can drive you to the infection.
Birth control
Women who are taking birth control may experience this problem causing them to eat a lot of sugar and a lot of carbohydrates. If your diet is high in sugar, high in carbs, then it also can lead to the infection
If you want to get rid of this infection you have to change your diet. You’ve got to get rid of the sugar in the carbs because you are feeding the infection.
Weakened immune system
A lot of people will have a weak immune system for so many reasons out there due to metabolic disorders. A weak immune system allows for these opportunistic fungi and bacteria to come in and take advantage of your body.
Fighting Candida naturally
Let’s make sure that we’re keeping our immune system strong at all costs. Clinically, we would definitely use supplements. One of them is called Microbe Cleanse. This is basically a mixture of many different things that kill off candida. Some of the ingredients include: olive leaf extract, turmeric, ginger, caprylic acid, and oregano. These are very powerful at killing off the candida.
We would also use a Probiotic to help balance out the microbiome. If you actually strengthen the microbiome, what you’ll find is that this candida cannot survive because the bacteria is going to fight it off.
We want to make sure that we’re at least using those two supplements. When we work on these issues clinically, we have to get results and get them quickly. Nobody wants to dabble with this thing for the next six months!
Making changes to your diet to help rid Candida infection
1. Add garlic to your diet.
2. Eat fermented foods that offer lots of good probiotics in them and a good wide variety of different strains.
3. Follow a sugar-free diet. You don’t want to be feeding the candida infection and nothing feeds it like eating lots of sugar.
4. Decreasing your carbohydrate intake. A lot of people will even go on a ketogenic diet for a period of time to overcome this infection.
5. Use xylitol as a sweetener. Many people use this while on a ketogenic diet as it does not raise blood sugar.
6. Use coconut oil.
