The American Heart Association has given some really alarming advice over the years. The question is did they give you that advice because they truly believed it or is it because somebody paid them to do it?
There’s a big problem when these health organizations become sacred cows and infallible because then what happens is nobody questions them whether or not the studies that they’re putting out there as real research and real science are bought and paid for. Or if they’re actually real science, nobody questions whether there’s truth that they’re giving or if it’s just nonsense in order to make money.
We also want to look at one’s history. Did they give good information over a long period of time or have they given a lot of bad information that has led people down the wrong path?
Seed oils have been promoted as healthy food. One of the biggest lies we were told is that seed oils were actually, in fact, Foods labeled as “heart healthy” because they can stay liquid at room temperature.
Meanwhile, we’re told that healthy fats like coconut oil, avocado oil, and animal fats are bad for us and they contribute or even cause heart disease.
Bad oils that you do want to stay away from are:
These oils are in everything because they’re cheap and mostly used in restaurants but they are bad for your health.
Allegedly, seed oil is promoted as healthy ones by the American Heart Association but are actually highly toxic and can cause inflammation. They’re high in omega-6 and when you continue to raise omega-6s in the body you continue to drive inflammation.
So, why did the American Heart Association promote this or the use of margarine instead of butter? Isn’t it obvious that is a bad idea? Well, they did something not too many people know about and that’s when they accepted 20 million dollars in funding from Procter and Gamble in 1961.
