My SHOCKING 3 Day Water Fasting Results!
Hello Wellness Warriors! This is Dr. Nick Zyrowski with another video called, “My Shocking 3-day Water Fasting Results.” I will share my very own experience doing it and reveal some clinical data from a fast research grade body composition scanner. This scanner details exactly how much fat I had lost or even how much muscle I had to discard.
Fasting for three days meant eating no food for 72 hours. During this fast, I did not drink any coffee or tea, JUST WATER. I diluted the water with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and drank them in the morning and two tablespoons at night. I also made sure that I used electrolyte powders which has been very important. The electrolyte powder is needed because you want to make sure that you’re keeping your electrolytes up otherwise you will have a total lack of energy and feel really lousy. How I did my 3-day fasting
Movement
During this time, I worked my normal hours seeing patients for 11 hours each day. Overall, I was very physically active. However, if I had a desk job, I would make a point to do a 30-minute brisk walk a day in order to get better results while I fasted.
Measure Results
Measure results using a research grade body composition scanner. With this scanner, I was able to determine the changes that happened during my fast. It yielded the overall data I needed on my health such as weight, the fat percentage on my body, my fat mass, muscle mass, BMI, metabolic age and how much visceral fat is on my organs.
The Shocking Results
My weight dropped from 183.6 pounds to 181 pounds. While that’s not quite a lot, there are a couple of things that we have to take into consideration since I don’t carry an excessive amount of body fat on my body.
